Embrace the reality that the world is not fair – you would be happier when you understand it.

You were born in the countryside, and Bill Gate’s children were born in Bill Gate’s home. How to compare?

The only fair thing is that you and I have 24 hours a day.

But how could people really understand that the time is their lives? And to make full use of the time while you can.

When I recall the formal education I received in school and university, I believe there were 2 lessons that I was never taught, which are how to make money and how to make time.

These 2 lessons could likely affect the quality of a person’s life the most, and what’s more, they seem to be very important lessons. You might actually disagree, whereby you may say “I did receive some lessons on finance and time management.” Well, that may be true, but when it comes to why your time is your life, were we ever taught that?

How much do you need for your entire life? Ultimately, that would determine the amount of TIME you gain back for yourself. Or else, you could end up “working” (trading your time) to afford the luxury items which you pay for using credit.

Don’t you agree that your life is made up of the entire time you have during your lifetime? But what then makes people say, “I have no time for…”? The truth is, it’s not that they do not have time for it; what they mean is, for the moment, it isn’t a priority to allocate their time for. Most people, including you and me, need to make enough money for our lifetime so that we can have time for our own priorities instead of spending our time on the priorities of others.

There are Three Eight hours in 24 hours.

The first eight hours: your working hours

You use it at work. If you are unhappy in this job, you could go for another one; but when you are doing your job, don’t hate it, or else your life will be meaningless. Because once you hate your job, you are not going to be productive in this one-third of your life, so now you see the meaning of taking full responsibility and contributing the best of you to the job while you work. By only contributing continuously, you are going to be able to build your personal attributes and add value to the organisation and society. This job may be your career or your business; all the values you create, are the values you have built within you- they belong to you, you are the one who earned all these after all. Which, those attributes define you.

Thus, you need a good, rewarding, and meaningful work! The job that gives you the money, satisfaction, and meaning you need for a lifetime.

The second eight hours: discretionary time

Your time with yourself, and with those around you. Walking on the street, in the car, on the public bus, exercising, running, reading books, watching movies, social-media-ing, working overtime, etc.

At these hours, who do you have your breakfast, lunch, or dinner with? Jim Rohn famously said that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with. This relates to the law of averages, which is the theory that the result of any given situation will be the average of all outcomes. Thus, if you build your faith, think independently, enjoy your hobbies, optimize your personal economy, reorganize cognition, improve your mindset configuration, and strengthen productivity; you could have quality time with family, friends, and yourself.

Thus, you need a more productive self and good people around you!

The third eighth hour: time for rest

The time you are in bed, the time you rest and rest with your life partner. The attributes of you and your partner would be significantly exposed. Both will support and learn from each other.

You need quality sleep and a good, respectful, supportive life partner!

One day, it would eventually be your life.

If you break your life into 4 stages, could be named, strive, rooting, growth, and inheritance stages.

In the stages of life once entered into the industry, they are:-

  1. Strive Stage – work hard to experience more.

It is the stage, you invest more time in the accumulation of practical experience and build your earning power to fulfill physiological needs.

2. Rooting Stage – stable and mature foundation

It is the stage you spend more time adding value and building independent thinking and principled life and building your development to fulfill psychological needs.

3. Growth Stage – continuous growth and building successors

It is the stage when you could have more discretionary time for yourself and pursue self-actualization for long-term growth.

4. Inheritance Stage – Significant attributes are built and values to be bequeathed.

It is the stage you are to be a selflessness person

The proactive way of time management would eventually change your future. You are sooner to earn the money you need for your entire life and have more discretionary time for yourself and the people around you. The difference between people in the later stage is that the time is juggled within the first and second eight hours in strive, root, and growth stages. Some people may have to struggle and strive for a lifetime, while some people only strive for a while to reach the stage of self-actualization and live an elevated pre-tirement financial freedom at the early age of their lives.
